2009 Ferrington Vineyard
Gewurztraminer
After pressing the juice had a chai tea spice flavor.
Slow tank fermentation kept the spice in tact
balancing the honeysuckle and tropical fruit
flavors.
Sustainably farmed in Anderson Valley at
Ferrington vineyards, this Gewürztraminer came
in a few days after the Pinot Gris.
Gewürztraminer in Anderson Valley tends to ripen
earlier than the Pinot Noir. This is a new clone
from Davis developed for its spicy characteristics.
